The French duo ABÉLARD is composed of two internationally recognized concert pianists : Héloïse Hervouët and Yolande Kouznetsov. Both graduates from the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance of Lyon where they were trained at the highest level as classical musicians, they are also engaged in successful and eclectic careers in various musical styles.
ABÉLARD will perform on the entire tour of the German industrial metal band RAMMSTEIN, for the European Stadium Tour 2024 for which they will be the Opening Act in two-piano covers of their songs.
Over 30 dates, they will travel to no less than ten European countries and play in the Olympic stadiums of 16 cities in front of nearly one million people.
Héloïse has performed in some of the most prestigious festivals around the world (in the USA, Mexico, Canada, Germany, Austria, Italy) with renowned musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. She regularly collaborates with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra as an orchestra pianist, a chamber musician and a soloist. She has recorded for eminent record labels such as Deutsche Grammophon and Warner Classics. She teaches piano at the Académie Rainier III of Monaco. She has performed with Abélard for Rammstein’s European and North American Stadium Tour in 2022, and the European Stadium Tour in 2023.
The French pianist Yolande Kouznetsov comes from a family of Russian concert pianists. She combines this strong musical heritage with a desire for innovative projects destined for all audiences.
Yolande is a winner of international piano competitions, including Cantù (Italy) in 2019 where she won first prize. Her career has led her to participate in numerous international festivals as a soloist, performing for example several concertos for piano and orchestra, as well as chamber music concerts. She has been invited to collaborate with the musicians of the National Orchestra of the Pays de la Loire (France), Svetlana Eganian and also Mark Drobinski, a student of the famous cellist Mstislav Rostropovitch.
Regularly invited as a jury member, she co-directs the prestigious Lyon International Piano Competition (France), an internationally recognized competition reserved for professionals.
